This recipe is really easy and husband and 2 year old approved. Last week I was being lazy and picked up some alfredo sauce from the jar for dinner and it was really nasty! So this week I made it up to my family and made the homemade version and it came out really yummy! I usually add broccoli to this recipe to sneak in those veggies, but again, I was being lazy. don’t be like me.
- boneless skinless thin cut chicken
- blackened seasoning
- garlic salt
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 cup of whipping cream
- 1/2 cup of shredded parmesan cheese
- black pepper
Rinse chicken and cover chicken with blackened seasoning, then a pinch of garlic salt and a pinch of paprika. Do this on both sides. Heat oil in pan on medium and add chicken. Cook until juices run clear.
Boil pasta while you are cooking chicken. I used bow tie pasta. But fettuccini or penne would also be great.
Set aside chicken if finished and start your cream sauce. Heat up one tbsp. of butter in a sauce pan on low/medium heat and add your chopped garlic. once heated not browned add 1 cup of whipping cream and whisk until a small boil. slowly add shredded parmesan and whisk to combine and melt. Add pepper to your liking and vola! Add cream sauce to pasta and slice up your chicken on top.
Hope you enjoyed this recipe. Let me know if you end up making this for your family 🙂
